The Kerala government has issued an order rescheduling the Muharram public holiday to Friday. The decision was taken as the observance of Muharram will take place on Friday instead of the previously expected date.
Accordingly, the public holiday that had been declared for Thursday has been shifted to Friday. The government also clarified that Thursday will be a working day and no holiday will be observed on that day.
