The Kerala High Court has directed the Travancore Devaswom Board to prevent VIP darshan from obstructing regular pilgrims at Sabarimala during the Mandala-Makaravilakku festival. This follows reports that actor Dileep’s visit on December 5 caused crowding and blocked access to the temple. The court warned of contempt proceedings against officials who grant VIP privileges that disrupt crowd management and has ordered the production of CCTV footage for further investigation.
