Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday directed officials to give special priority to cases involving missing children and women, stressing the need for urgent action to ensure their safe rescue.
During a virtual review meeting on the state’s law and order situation, Soren asked authorities to closely monitor such cases and respond with heightened sensitivity and efficiency.
He also instructed officials to take strict measures against drug trafficking and to “break the supply chain of narcotic substances” in the state. Those involved in the illegal trade should be dealt with firmly, he said.
The Chief Minister emphasised that ensuring the safety of vulnerable groups must remain a top priority for law enforcement agencies.
