ISRO Postpones Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX) for the Second Time

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has postponed its ambitious Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX) for the second time. Initially scheduled for Tuesday, the mission was later rescheduled to Thursday but has now been delayed further, with a new launch date yet to be announced.

SpaDeX is a pioneering mission by ISRO aimed at demonstrating the capability to dock two satellites in space. This technology is critical for future space exploration, enabling activities such as satellite servicing, refueling, and the construction of large structures in orbit.

The delay has been attributed to technical reasons, with ISRO officials stating that the mission requires additional time to ensure all parameters are optimal. The docking experiment, once executed, will mark a significant milestone in India’s space program, showcasing the nation’s growing expertise in advanced space technologies.

A revised schedule is expected to be announced soon, as ISRO remains committed to the success of this groundbreaking mission.
