India’s Wildlife Conservation Efforts Yield Success: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India’s remarkable achievements in wildlife conservation, stating that the population of tigers, leopards, and rhinos has significantly increased over the last decade. He credited this success to the country’s deep commitment to preserving wildlife and its continuous efforts to build sustainable habitats for animals.

“Our dedication to protecting nature is reflected in the rising numbers of tigers, leopards, and rhinos. This showcases how deeply we cherish our wildlife and are actively working towards ensuring a balanced ecosystem,” PM Modi said.

India, home to over 70% of the world’s tigers, has seen a steady rise in their numbers through rigorous conservation initiatives such as Project Tiger. Similarly, leopard and rhino populations have benefited from enhanced protection measures and habitat restoration projects.

The Prime Minister reiterated India’s global leadership in wildlife conservation, emphasizing that the nation will continue to focus on environmental sustainability and biodiversity protection for future generations.
