Kolkata: India and the United States are strengthening cooperation across several sectors, including defence, information technology and healthcare, with investments and joint initiatives opening up new opportunities for both countries, US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor said.Highlighting the growing partnership between the two nations, Gor said bilateral relations continued to develop through collaboration in a wide range of fields.”India and the US have a great relationship, there’s so much happening. Pick any sector, and we’re working together in it,” he said.The ambassador’s remarks underline the broad scope of India-US engagement, which spans strategic cooperation, technological development, healthcare and economic investment.The expanding partnership is expected to create further opportunities for businesses and institutions in both countries while strengthening cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.
