This groundbreaking move will streamline airport processes and enhance the travel experience for passengers, using cutting-edge digital solutions.
Through DigiYatra, facial recognition will allow seamless airport entry, reducing the need for multiple identity checks and paperwork. E-passports will feature embedded electronic chips storing biometric data, offering enhanced security and fraud prevention, while speeding up immigration clearances.
Already implemented at select domestic airports, DigiYatra’s expansion into international travel signals India’s drive to lead global aviation innovation. By 2025, India aims to set new standards in efficiency and convenience, making international travel faster, safer, and more secure.
