Gold prices declined sharply in Kerala on Thursday, with the rate falling by ₹70 per gram, according to the latest market update.
The price of one gram of 22-carat gold is now ₹14,305, while the rate for eight grams (one sovereign) has dropped to ₹1,14,440.
Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is priced at ₹11,815 per gram and ₹94,520 for eight grams.
Silver prices also witnessed a decline. The rate of silver stands at ₹275 per gram and ₹2,200 for eight grams.
The fall in prices comes amid fluctuations in the international bullion market and changing investor sentiment.
