Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway: Key Stretch Opens for Traffic, Boosting Connectivity

The much-awaited Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway has been partially opened for traffic within Karnataka, significantly improving travel between the two metro cities. Currently, a 68 km stretch is operational, witnessing a daily traffic flow of 1,600 to 2,000 vehicles. The expressway, once fully completed, will reduce travel time between Bengaluru and Chennai to just 2-3 hours, offering a faster and smoother commute. Designed for high-speed travel, the expressway features modern infrastructure, controlled entry-exit points, and designated speed limits to ensure safety and efficiency. This mega infrastructure project is set to enhance regional connectivity, fuel economic growth, and provide a seamless travel experience for commuters and freight transport.
