Australian Rapper Jamaica Moana to Visit India for Pride Month Tour

New Delhi: Award-winning Australian rapper and songwriter Jamaica Moana is set to visit India this week as part of a three-city tour celebrating Pride Month. The tour, which includes a stop in New Delhi, aims to showcase contemporary artistic expression while strengthening cultural connections through music and storytelling.

Described as one of Australia’s most promising emerging artists, Jamaica Moana is a non-binary performer, songwriter and ballroom leader from Sydney with Māori and Samoan roots. According to the Australian High Commission in New Delhi, the artist’s work explores themes of identity, belonging and self-expression, bringing deeply personal narratives to audiences around the world.

Proud of her Māori (Ngāpuhi/Tainui) and Samoan heritage, Jamaica Moana blends music, fashion, performance and community engagement in her creative work. Her artistic journey reflects a commitment to celebrating diversity and amplifying underrepresented voices.
