Kochi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday reached out to the Christian community in Kerala, urging them to support the BJP-led NDA in the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for April 9.
Addressing a public meeting in Kunnathunadu constituency, Amit Shah called on voters to back the NDA to enable the formation of a government in the state.
He also referred to the alleged misappropriation of gold linked to Sabarimala Temple, stating that those responsible would be jailed within two months if the NDA comes to power.
Highlighting development promises, Amit Shah said Kerala would get its first All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which would be made operational within two years under an NDA government. The remarks come as election campaigning intensifies across Kerala ahead of the Assembly polls.
