Kollam: Alliance Home Fresh LLP, a women-led entrepreneurial venture dedicated to providing pure and high-quality food products at affordable prices, was officially inaugurated by Kerala’s Minister for Animal Husbandry, J. Chinchurani. The enterprise collects premium agricultural produce directly from farmers across various Indian states, processes and packages them hygienically, and delivers value-added products to the general public.
Headquartered at Veykal in Nilamel Grama Panchayat, Kollam district, the initiative seeks to empower grassroots women by offering sustainable employment and income opportunities. Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Chinchurani highlighted the project’s dual impact—promoting women’s entrepreneurship and ensuring access to clean, trustworthy food. She also extended her appreciation to BLM and founding member R. Prem Kumar for their support in bringing the venture to life.
R. Prem Kumar, Founding Member of BLM and chief guest at the event, emphasized that the initiative is rooted in women’s empowerment and public welfare. He assured continued support from BLM to promote similar ventures that uplift women and provide safe food options to consumers.
Alliance Home Fresh sources ingredients like red chili, coriander, chickpeas, lentils, black gram, cardamom, cloves, dry fruits, millets, and various spices directly from farmers. These are then carefully processed—both in whole and powdered forms—and packed to meet high-quality standards before reaching the market.
The launch event was presided over by Managing Director Sabi Ziyad. The official website was launched by Sandeep Kanam Rajendran, while Nilamel Grama Panchayat President Shameena Parampil performed the switch-on ceremony. Managing Director Shyla Anwar delivered the welcome address, and Kunil Group Managing Director A. R. Naseemudheen marked the first sale.
