
New Delhi: The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) on October 2 concluded its 16-day Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) Campaign 2026, organised by the Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga.
The campaign focused on cleanliness, waste management, environmental awareness and community participation. A campus-wide cleanliness drive and Swachhata pledge were held on the concluding day, while Safai Mitras were felicitated for their contribution.
A plantation drive was also organised under the “Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam” initiative. During the campaign, awareness programmes on waste segregation, home composting, the 3Rs and avoiding single-use plastics were conducted for patients and their attendants.
AIIA said it would continue its cleanliness and waste-management efforts under Special Campaign 6.0, which will continue till October 31.
