AAP vs BJP Over ‘Removal’ of Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh’s Photos from Delhi CM’s Office

New Delhi: A political clash erupted in Delhi between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over allegations that the photos of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh were removed from the Chief Minister’s office.

AAP leaders accused the newly-formed BJP government of disrespecting Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh by taking down their portraits. Atishi, senior AAP leader, condemned the move, calling it an “insult” to India’s icons and demanded an immediate explanation from the BJP.

In response, BJP leaders refuted the allegations, asserting that no such removal took place and accusing AAP of misleading the public for political gain. They argued that the BJP government respects both Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh and will continue to uphold their legacy.

The controversy has further intensified the political rivalry between AAP and BJP in Delhi, with both parties using the issue to attack each other ahead of upcoming elections.
