Kozhikode: Senior IUML leader and Koduvally MLA Dr. M. K. Muneer has been hospitalized in Kozhikode after suffering a heart attack triggered by dangerously low potassium levels, hospital sources confirmed.
He remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under the close watch of a multidisciplinary team of doctors. While his condition is serious, the latest medical bulletin noted encouraging signs of improvement.
Muneer reportedly felt unwell after attending a series of public events in his constituency on the previous day, leading to the sudden health setback.
