Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has revised the rain warning for Kerala, issuing a yellow alert for three districts—Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam—where isolated heavy rainfall is expected.
According to the IMD, “heavy rainfall” refers to precipitation between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm within 24 hours. The forecast indicates that rain intensity will decrease from tomorrow, and no specific weather alerts have been issued for any district for the following four days.
