Thiruvananthapuram: A grand memorial meeting honoring the legacy of veteran communist leader and former Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will be held today at 4 PM at Kanakakkunnu Palace in Thiruvananthapuram. Organized by the CPI(M), the event will witness the presence of top political leaders and prominent religious and cultural figures from across the state, reflecting the deep respect Achuthanandan commanded across political and social spectrums.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, CPM State Secretary M.V. Govindan, Opposition Leader V.D. Satheesan, Deputy Opposition Leader P.K. Kunhalikutty, CPI State Secretary Binoy Viswam, KPCC President Adv. Sunny Joseph, and Kerala Congress (M) Chairman Jose K. Mani are among the key political figures attending.
Spiritual leaders such as Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis, Archbishop Thomas J. Netto, Dr. V.P. Suhaib Moulavi, Swami Subhangananda, Dr. Gabriel Mar Gregorios, Dr. Varghese Chakkalakal, Swami Gururatnam Jnanatapasswi, J. Jayaraj, and Bishop Mathews Mor Silvanus will also take part in the tribute.
