Kerala Govt Sanctions ₹16.5 Crore for Upgrading 7 Schools in Alappuzha; Stalled Projects to Resume

The Kerala government has approved ₹16.5 crore for the development and upgrading of seven schools in the Alappuzha constituency. The decision was taken during a high-level meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram, attended by Alappuzha MLA P.P. Chitharanjan and senior education department officials.

The sanctioned amount will be used to enhance infrastructure, modernize classrooms, and improve facilities in selected schools, aiming to provide students with a better learning environment.

In addition to this, the meeting also resolved to restart long-pending and stalled construction works in other schools across the constituency. The move is expected to boost the quality of public education and address gaps in infrastructure that have impacted learning continuity.

MLA P.P. Chitharanjan stated that the government is committed to ensuring world-class facilities in public schools, and that Alappuzha will continue to benefit from focused investments in the education sector.
