PM Modi Vows Unyielding Response to Terror: “It’s Sindoor, Not Blood, That Runs Through My Veins”

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a fiery speech in Bikaner, Rajasthan, following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, vowing swift and decisive action against those responsible and targeting Pakistan with sharp criticism.

Modi recounted how terrorists targeted innocent civilians on April 22, even questioning their faith and wiping the sindoor—a symbol of marital sanctity—from the foreheads of Indian women. “The bullets fired in Pahalgam wounded the hearts of 1.4 billion Indians,” he said.

Highlighting India’s rapid military response, Modi stated that within 22 minutes of the attack, Indian forces had destroyed terrorist camps across the border. “The country promised a memorable retaliation. Our armed forces compelled Pakistan to bow. Terrorist camps were decimated within minutes,” he declared.

Modi emphasized the emotional and symbolic strength of the Indian people: “When sindoor turns to gunpowder, enemies of India and the world witness our resolve. It’s not blood, but sindoor that runs through my veins,” he said, underlining the nation’s unwavering stance against terrorism.
