On Constitution Day 2024, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), led by Principal Secretary Dr. P.K. Mishra, joined the nation in honoring the Indian Constitution by collectively reading its Preamble. The ceremony, conducted at the PMO, symbolized a reaffirmation of the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that underpin India’s democracy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in a Constitution Day event at the Supreme Court, where he lauded the Constitution as a cornerstone of India’s governance and inclusivity. These celebrations reflect a nationwide effort to deepen constitutional awareness and strengthen democratic values during the ongoing “Amrit Kaal” as India approaches its 100th year of independence.
