PM Modi Celebrates Constitution Day, Launches Digital Justice Initiatives at Supreme Court

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked Constitution Day on November 26, 2024, with an inspiring address at the Supreme Court of India. Praising the Indian Constitution as the bedrock of the nation’s progress, he emphasized its role in fostering democracy and inclusivity.

In a solemn tribute, the Prime Minister honored the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, reinforcing India’s unwavering stance against terrorism. Modi also acknowledged the contributions of lawmakers, judges, and civil servants over the decades in strengthening the constitutional framework.

The event saw the launch of cutting-edge initiatives to modernize the judiciary, including the Virtual Justice Clock, JustIS Mobile App 2.0, and Digital Court services. These innovations aim to make justice delivery more transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric.

Modi highlighted the importance of youth engagement with constitutional values and lauded the often-overlooked contributions of women in the Constituent Assembly. He called for collective action to uphold the ideals of the Constitution as India approaches its centenary of independence under the vision of “Amrit Kaal.”
