Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return to Delhi was delayed after his aircraft experienced a technical issue at Deoghar airport in Jharkhand. The Prime Minister had been visiting the state to celebrate its foundation day and honor the legacy of tribal leader Birsa Munda on his 150th birth anniversary. Following the snag, discussions were held to arrange alternative travel options for Modi, while a no-fly zone was temporarily enforced over the region.
Officials confirmed that the Prime Minister was delayed for over an hour at the airport while solutions were being explored. An alternate aircraft was soon dispatched to ensure Modi’s safe return to the capital.
