PM Modi congratulates Indian athletes on Asian Games medal wins

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian athletes and teams for their medal-winning performances at the Asian Games 2026.

Modi congratulated Dharmveer Chaudhary, Manu TS, Jay Kumar and Vishal TK on winning the bronze medal in the men’s 4x400m relay. He praised their spirited team effort and said the achievement would inspire other athletes.

He also congratulated Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru for winning bronze in the men’s compound individual event. Modi praised his composure and precision under pressure and wished him success in his future competitions.

The Prime Minister congratulated Prince Noble and Manu Francis on winning silver in the men’s skiff event. He said their improved performance reflected their skill and determination.

Modi also hailed the Indian women’s squash team for securing the bronze medal, praising the players for their determination and effort. He said the achievement could encourage more youngsters to take up squash.
