
New Delhi: The Ministry of Textiles has launched the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign to promote cleanliness, hygiene and public participation across its organisations.
The campaign is being observed from September 17 to October 2 under the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat Viksit Bharat”, highlighting community participation in maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.
As part of the campaign, cleanliness drives are being organised at office premises, educational campuses and public spaces with the participation of employees, students, civil society groups and local communities.
The ministry also organised a thematic art poster-making competition on September 18 at GPOA-3, Netaji Nagar, New Delhi. Senior officials visited various sections of the ministry to review cleanliness measures and encourage employees to adopt hygienic practices.
