New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Suchika Tariyal for winning a bronze medal in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) at the Asian Games, describing the achievement as historic for India.
Tariyal has secured India’s first-ever Asian Games medal in Mixed Martial Arts, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
In a post on X, Modi praised her dedication and determination and said the achievement marked an important milestone for Indian sport. He also wished her continued success in the future.
