New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Indian shooters Sonam Uttam Maskar, Elavenil Valarivan and Vidarsa K Vinod for winning the silver medal in the women’s 10m air rifle event at the Asian Games 2026.
In a post on X, Modi praised the trio for their performance and highlighted the role of hard work and teamwork in achieving the result.
He said their success would serve as an inspiration to several athletes in the years ahead.
The Indian team’s silver medal adds to the country’s achievements in shooting at the ongoing Asian Games.
