Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday released “Asha Forever,” a special song composed by acclaimed music director A.R. Rahman, to mark the 93rd birth anniversary of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle.
Speaking at the event, Fadnavis remembered Bhosle as a symbol of boundless energy and enthusiasm, saying her passion for music and love for life were reflected in her memorable performances.
Rahman, Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, Bhosle’s granddaughter Janai Bhosle, members of the Bhosle family and others attended the release event.
