
Pathanamthitta: Vice President C P Radhakrishnan on Sunday inaugurated the traditional Aranmula Uthrittathi Vallamkali held on the Pamba River, describing the annual boat race as a glorious symbol of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage, devotion and timeless traditions.

The Vice President said the historic festival reflects the state’s deep-rooted traditions and cultural legacy, while bringing together communities in a spirit of devotion and celebration.
The Aranmula Uthrittathi Vallamkali, held on the Pamba at Aranmula, is one of Kerala’s most celebrated traditional boat festivals and attracts large numbers of participants and spectators each year.
