New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Indian weightlifter Raja Muthupandi on winning the silver medal in the men’s 65 kg event at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister hailed the achievement as another proud moment for Indian weightlifting and praised the athlete for bringing glory to the nation.
“Another medal for India in Weightlifting! Congrats to Raja Muthupandi on winning a Silver in the Men’s 65 kg event at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. His success makes every Indian happy and proud,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister also extended his best wishes to Raja Muthupandi for his future competitions and expressed confidence that he would continue to achieve greater success on the international stage.
