Kerala Govt Seeks Information on Two Keralites Involved in Vietnam Boat Accident

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has initiated efforts to gather detailed information about two Keralites who were among those affected in a boat accident in Vietnam.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Chief Minister V D Satheesan has directed the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Non-Resident Keralites Affairs (NORKA) to contact the Embassy of Vietnam to obtain further details about the incident.

The state government is closely monitoring the situation and is coordinating through NORKA to verify the condition of the two Keralites and extend necessary assistance, if required.

NORKA is the Kerala government department responsible for the welfare of Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) living in other parts of India and abroad.
