New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended warm greetings to Donald Trump and the people of the United States on the historic occasion of the country’s 250th Independence anniversary.
In a message shared on X, Modi said that, on behalf of 1.4 billion Indians, he congratulated President Trump and the American people on the milestone celebration.
The Prime Minister highlighted the enduring strength of the India–US relationship, saying the partnership goes beyond strategic cooperation and is rooted in shared values of democracy, the rule of law, and faith in the limitless potential of the people of both nations.
Expressing optimism for the future, Modi said he hopes the next 250 years will bring greater prosperity, peace and progress to the United States while taking the India–US partnership to new heights.
