Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is expected to raise several key issues concerning the state, including central fund allocation and regional development priorities, at the 11th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog.

The meeting, to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, is expected to bring together chief ministers and senior government officials from across the country to discuss development strategies and policy initiatives.

According to official sources, Vijay is also likely to seek greater financial support from the Centre for several major infrastructure projects in Tamil Nadu. He is expected to highlight issues related to the state’s development needs and advocate for increased funding for priority sectors.

The upcoming meeting will mark Vijay’s first participation in the NITI Aayog Governing Council since assuming office as Chief Minister, making it a significant platform for presenting Tamil Nadu’s concerns and development agenda before the Centre.
