Thrissur: Following requests from paddy farmers in the district, Thrissur MLA Rajan J Pallan submitted a memorandum to Food and Civil Supplies Minister Anoop Jacob seeking the urgent allocation of funds for paddy procurement.
The memorandum highlighted the need for immediate financial support to ensure smooth procurement and storage of paddy in the district.
Responding to the request, Minister Anoop Jacob assured that the required funds would be sanctioned at the earliest.
