The Kerala government has granted a special concession for farmers who were unable to complete registration for the 2025-26 second crop paddy procurement within the stipulated deadline of March 31, 2026.
The decision was taken on the direction of the Minister for Food and Civil Supplies to facilitate eligible farmers who missed the registration process due to various reasons.
As part of the initiative, the Supplyco Paddy Portal will be reopened from 10 a.m. on May 29 until June 3, 2026, providing a five-day window for late registration.
Farmers who have not yet completed their registration for the second crop season have been advised to utilise the opportunity and complete the process through the official paddy procurement portal.
The government urged all eligible farmers to ensure their registration is completed within the extended period to avail themselves of the benefits of the paddy procurement scheme.
