The Guruvayur Devaswom will introduce an online virtual queue system on a trial basis to facilitate a smoother and more convenient darshan experience for devotees, Devaswom Chairman A V Gopinath announced.
The virtual queue system is being implemented as a precursor to the Devaswom’s proposed Face App-based darshan management system. The chairman said the initiative also complies with the directions of the Kerala High Court, which had called for measures to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free darshan for devotees.
Gopinath further stated that the Devaswom’s accounts department has now been fully computerized, marking a significant step in the modernization of its administrative functions.
Devaswom governing body members Mallissery Parameswaran Namboodiripad, C Manoj, M U Shinij, and Administrator O B Arun Kumar were present at the press conference.
