Gold prices in Kerala declined on today, with the rate falling by ₹55 per gram amid fluctuations in the bullion market.
The price of 22-carat gold dropped to ₹14,395 per gram, while the price of a sovereign (8 grams) fell by ₹440 to ₹1,15,160.
Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is priced at ₹11,895 per gram and ₹95,160 for eight grams.
Silver prices remained unchanged at ₹280 per gram and ₹2,240 for eight grams.
Jewellery traders said gold prices continue to witness fluctuations in line with movements in international markets and changes in investor sentiment.
