The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for NEET-UG 2026 candidates to submit their bank account details for examination fee refunds till June 22.
The move comes after NEET-UG 2026 was cancelled amid allegations of a question paper leak and a fresh examination was announced.
Earlier, while declaring the re-examination schedule for June 21, the NTA had clarified that no examination fee would be charged from candidates appearing for the fresh test.
The agency had also assured students that the fees already paid for the cancelled examination would be refunded.
According to officials, around 13 lakh candidates have updated their bank account details for the refund process so far.
Candidates who have not yet submitted their banking information have been advised to complete the process before the revised deadline.
