Gold prices increased in Kerala on Thursday, with the rate of 22-carat gold rising by ₹45 per gram, according to the latest market updates.
The price of one gram of 916 purity gold reached ₹14,660, while the rate for eight grams stood at ₹1,17,280.
Meanwhile, 18-carat gold was priced at ₹12,110 per gram and ₹96,880 for eight grams.
Silver prices remained steady at ₹285 per gram and ₹2,280 for eight grams.
Jewellery traders said fluctuations in international market trends and global economic conditions continue to influence domestic gold prices.
