Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri visited the United Arab Emirates on Thursday and held discussions with UAE Minister of State Reem Al Hashimy on the evolving situation in West Asia.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the two sides also reviewed bilateral cooperation in areas including trade, investment, energy, defence, connectivity, fintech, healthcare, education and cultural exchanges.
Reem Al Hashimy, who also serves as the UAE’s special envoy for India, discussed ways to further strengthen ties between the two countries during the meeting.
