Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday said that tribal communities and Scheduled Castes have played a crucial role in preserving India’s identity and cultural essence despite foreign invasions and hardships.
Speaking at the Karmayogi Awards ceremony in Mumbai, attended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Bhagwat stressed the need to integrate these communities into the mainstream development process.
He highlighted that serving society is a fundamental duty and emphasised the idea of collective growth, stating that helping others thrive contributes to overall human development and reflects the core values of Indian society.
