The Delhi Police has busted multiple illegal LPG refilling and black-marketing rackets operating across the national capital, arresting 16 people in a series of coordinated raids.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, police teams conducted operations over the past week in areas including Mangolpuri, Jahangirpuri, Palam, and Dwarka. The raids uncovered a large network involved in the unauthorised storage, refilling, and sale of domestic LPG cylinders at inflated prices.
Officials said a total of 241 LPG cylinders were seized during the operations. Investigations are underway to identify the full extent of the network and any additional individuals involved.
Police have stated that strict action will be taken against those engaged in illegal activities that pose safety risks and exploit consumers.
