New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday shared an article by Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan highlighting the significance of Puthandu and India’s rich cultural traditions.
The article extends greetings to people on the occasion of Puthandu and emphasises the festival’s role in bringing together tradition, family, spirituality, and a disciplined way of life.
It also underlines the diversity of India’s festivals and calls on the younger generation to uphold the ideals of “Ek Bharat” while contributing towards building a “Shreshtha Bharat” and a developed India by 2047.
The Prime Minister’s Office shared the message on X, reiterating the importance of cultural values in shaping the nation’s future.
