Flights to Gulf Resume: 58 Services Scheduled Today, 21 Cancelled from Thiruvananthapuram

New Delhi: Air connectivity between India and the Gulf region is gradually returning to normal, with 58 flights scheduled to operate today after Saudi Arabia and Oman reopened their airspace. Air India has already resumed scheduled services to Jeddah and Muscat, while a total of 24 regular flights are planned for the day. In addition, authorities have arranged 34 non-scheduled flights to help bring back passengers who were stranded in several Gulf countries due to the recent tensions in West Asia.

Airlines including IndiGo and SpiceJet will also operate special services from the UAE. Scheduled flights between Muscat and Kerala airports such as Cochin International Airport, Calicut International Airport and Trivandrum International Airport are expected to operate. However, travel plans faced a setback in the state capital, as 21 flights at Thiruvananthapuram Airport—12 departures and nine arrivals—were cancelled. Authorities have advised passengers to check the latest updates with their respective airlines before heading to the airport.
