Sabarimala: The virtual queue booking for the Sabarimala pilgrimage will begin tomorrow. Every day, 70,000 devotees can book slots online, while an additional 20,000 devotees will be allowed darshan through spot booking.
In total, 90,000 devotees will be permitted for darshan each day. At Pamba, ten resting sheds and a German tent will be set up, accommodating around 10,000 pilgrims at a time.
For the Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season, the Sabarimala temple will open on November 16 at 5 PM. After the Mandala Pooja on December 27, the temple will close that night and reopen on December 30 for the Makaravilakku festival.
This year, Makaravilakku will be observed on January 14, 2026, and the pilgrimage season will conclude with the temple closing on January 20, 2026.
