Vande Bharat Express Between Bengaluru and Kochi Faces Temporary Halt Due to Scheduling Issues

The popular Vande Bharat Express train service between Bengaluru and Kochi (Ernakulam), known for its high passenger demand, has not been fully cancelled but is currently suspended due to unresolved scheduling issues. The train, which was operating three times a week, is awaiting final approval from Southern Railways for an extended timetable.

Despite high occupancy rates, particularly on the Ernakulam to Bengaluru route, the service has faced delays in its schedule adjustment, leading to speculation about external influences, including possible lobbying by private bus operators. Passengers are hopeful that the service will resume once the new timetable is approved, allowing for smoother operations in the future.
