Thrissur: The skies above Thrissur roared to life as the much-anticipated sample fireworks for Thrissur Pooram lit up the night in a spectacular blaze of color, sound, and excitement. Beginning at 7 PM, Thiruvambady’s breathtaking pyrotechnics set the tone, followed by an equally stunning display by Paramekkavu, leaving thousands in the crowd cheering in awe.
P.M. Satheesh from Mundathikode curated the fiery magic for Thiruvambady, while Binoy Jacob of Kottayam led the explosive artistry for Paramekkavu. Each team used a massive 2000 kilograms of gunpowder, transforming the sky into a canvas of thunder and light.
To ensure public safety, authorities permitted viewing only from designated zones around Swaraj Round, under tight police supervision. The flawless execution offered not just a visual feast but a thrilling teaser of the grandeur that awaits in the main Pooram celebration.
