Tensions Soar: IndiGo and Air India Suspend Key Flights Amid Fresh Pakistani Drone Threats

New Delhi: In response to escalating cross-border tensions and renewed drone intrusion attempts by Pakistan, major Indian carriers IndiGo and Air India have suspended multiple flights scheduled for Tuesday. The precautionary move targets routes linked to sensitive border regions.

IndiGo has halted services to and from Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Leh, Srinagar, and Rajkot. Meanwhile, Air India has cancelled flights to Jammu, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh, and Rajkot.

Both airlines emphasized that the safety of passengers remains their top priority. IndiGo confirmed that the cancellations are a proactive measure in light of the volatile security situation. Air India also assured travelers that regular updates on service resumptions will be provided as the situation evolves.
