The Kerala University of Health Sciences Union 2023-24 Inter-Zone Cultural Festival, ‘Tahreer’, was officially inaugurated by Education Minister Dr. R. Bindu. The event took place at the Thykattusseri Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, where students from across the state came together to participate in various cultural activities.
The festival saw a warm welcome from University Union Vice Chairman Bhagirath S. Prasad, with University Union Chairperson Kanishka B. presiding over the event. Dr. V.V. Unnikrishnan, Dean of Student Affairs at the Kerala University of Health Sciences, attended as the Chief Guest. Several distinguished speakers, including Dr. V.N. Prasanna, Principal of Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, and Ravina B., Union Chairperson of the Ayurveda College, expressed their well wishes.
The festival, which will feature around 90 competitive events across five stages, will see participation from nearly 3,000 students from 132 colleges across Kerala. The event promises to be a grand showcase of talent, with students competing in various artistic and cultural categories.
