New Delhi: Two distinctive artefacts from Sikkim are among the items featured in the eighth edition of the PM Mementos auction, offering citizens an opportunity to own pieces of India’s diverse cultural heritage.
The artefacts include a brass sculpture of Lord Buddha gifted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the Governor of Sikkim and a Tibetan Buddhist tabletop prayer wheel, or Mani Khorlo, embossed with the sacred “Om Mani Padme Hum” mantra.

The inclusion of the Sikkim artefacts highlights the state’s unique artistic and spiritual heritage and brings its cultural traditions to a national platform.
The PM Mementos auction also supports the Namami Gange initiative, while providing an avenue to connect citizens with India’s rich cultural heritage.
