The “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” (Prosperity through Cooperation) vision aims to transform cooperative institutions into self-reliant and competitive entities, fostering a more robust and modern cooperative sector. This initiative focuses on enhancing transparency, efficiency, and technological integration across cooperatives. A key highlight is the introduction of cooperative participation on the Government e-Marketing platform, allowing cooperatives to access a wide range of goods from vendors nationwide. Additionally, the computerization of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) is making digital infrastructure more accessible.
The government is also preparing a National Cooperation Policy to further strengthen the cooperative sector. By facilitating cooperative-driven economic development at the grassroots level, the policy aims to modernize cooperatives and ensure they operate with greater transparency and competitiveness, ultimately contributing to the nation’s prosperity.
